i was in Paris this weekend...Paris, Texas that is...we did this cycling gig called tour de paris...james did the 70 miler and norma and i did the 46 miler...i really had a good time...the city of paris did a great job of having the rest stations manned w/snacks and drinks...afterwards in the school gym we hung out...had massages (my poor legs cramped during the last 10 miles) and ate cheeseburgers...it was very organized and totally the opposite of the dallas gig we did a couple of months ago...also, and this is a big plus...i did not cause injury to myself or anyone else...the spaz factor has gone waaaaaaayyyyy down...i am without a doubt sure that i can do my 30 miles plus every day during my trip to europe...i've worked hard over the last year to get myself in shape to do this gig...now, i'm not saying i'm not going to whine and bitch during this vacation...that's just my charming way...i would hate to read norma's blog during this time...james of course can't wait to read what she'll post...he knows what hell it is to live with me and put up with my whining...i intend to try and find a computer that i can blog and let everyone know wassup during this trip...that's all i got!
